The Chihuahua-Pacific train route (El Chepe) is by itself a fascinating experience, however, during the journey there are moments of even greater charm originated by one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes not only in Mexico but in the world, an area with the best panoramic views of the canyons, by the junction of Urique and Tararecua, as well as a cable car, zip lines and suspension bridges....
It is the area known as Divisadero, the most amazing of the Barrancas del Cobre.
Between the Mirador El Divisadero and the railroad station you will find a small handicrafts and food market, where you can buy Raramuri souvenirs, eat delicious burritos, quesadillas and red dough gorditas.
Nearby you will find Rarámuri women selling their handicrafts.
At the El Divisadero train station, the "El Chepe" railroad makes a short stop for its passengers to go down to the viewpoint, buy handicrafts or eat at the market. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, because being in Divisadero you have to walk in earnest many times on sidewalks and winding roads, but everything is compensated by the 180 and 360 degree views that you will have at all times, where your camera can not miss and your adventurous spirit must come out afloat.
